The short version
OneCor supplies hydrochloric acid (7.5% to 36%) and synthetic acid for completions in the Permian, Eagle Ford, Williston, and Powder River basins. We blend to your spec, stage product in-basin, deliver with OneCor drivers, and set storage on location. Our standard notice is 12 hours, and we regularly turn loads in two to four.
Why OneCor
How we're different
We don't say no
OneCor has supplier diversity, so you have the volume you need when the market tightens.
OneCor company drivers
Our drivers are hazmat-certified OneCor employees who know how to conduct themselves on a location.
From our rail to your well
Reliable sourcing at competitive price points
Built for the call you didn't plan
24/7/365, every day of the year. Our trucks are staged in the basins you operate in, so a change in plan does not turn into a shutdown.
Process
You make the call. We handle the rest.
Spec
You request the product that you need for your pad.
Stage
Your product is blended, followed by quality control checks. The storage tank is on the way.
Call
Dispatch sends the product to be offloaded and communicates with the crew for every load during the frac, day and night.
Deliver
A OneCor driver arrives with the load, checks in with the data van, and offloads the product following pad safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE.
What we supply
Blended to spec for every project
We supply hydrochloric acid and synthetic acid built to your specs and delivered to the wellsite.
We blend HCl at our own facilities, with corrosion inhibitor, iron control, and surfactant packages matched to the formation and safe for the tools going in the hole. If a concentration has to change for the job, we adjust it and keep your downhole equipment protected. Every batch goes through our in-house QA/QC before it leaves the terminal.
All chemicals we blend| Hydrochloric acid (HCl) | 36%31%28%20%15% Common concentrations. Custom blends on request. |
|---|---|
| Additive packages | Corrosion inhibitor, iron control, and surfactant, specified per job |
| Synthetic acid | Often called green acid or wireline acid. Vapor-free and less corrosive than HCl. Wireline compatible and safe to the skin. In average conditions it removes 10 to 15 minutes of pump time per stage. |
| Quality check | Blended at our own facilities and checked by our QA/QC process before every load leaves. |
Supply and storage
Built for a flexing forecast
A job design can forecast how much acid a well will take, but the volume may double if each stage runs into pressure. That's why we stage inventory ahead of every job and carry surplus inventory for the changing needs of our customers.
Acid storage on location is necessary and varies by customer, but we're flexible about how we cover that gap.
Option 1Acid storage tanks on location
We offer on-site acid storage frac tanks that hold surplus volume. Our preventive maintenance plan keeps them from leaking on the pad, and when the job is over we pump out what's left, move the tank with our winch trucks, and take the product back.
Option 2Drop and swap
Where space is limited, we can drop and swap: we bring in a full trailer and take the empty one.
Regardless of how you prefer to store your acid, our team can take a call with as little as two hours' notice. We staff and plan for those scenarios.

Dispatch answers 24/7
How much notice do you need for an acid load?
We ask for 12 hours, and we regularly deliver in two to four hours when a job burns through product faster than planned. Dispatch is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays. Product is staged in-basin, which is what makes the short turn possible.
What chemicals do you supply for completions?
We supply hydrochloric acid (HCl) blends from 7.5% to 36%, plus a synthetic acid often called green acid or wireline acid. Blends are made to your spec with corrosion inhibitor, iron control, and surfactant packages, and documented before they leave the terminal.
Do you use third-party drivers?
Most loads are moved by OneCor employees. Company drivers are hazmat certified and trained on wellsite protocol, so they arrive knowing how a controlled-access location runs. For peak demand, we keep a third-party pool on call.
What happens if the acid market tightens?
We hold inventory above what current jobs require and buy from two supply streams, byproduct acid and acid produced on purpose. When a shortage means paying spot pricing, we pay it and absorb the cost rather than cutting a customer's allocation.
What if there's acid left in the tank when the job ends?
We handle it. We pump out what's left, move the tank with our winch trucks, and take the product back. A trailer that has to go in for repair with product still in it, or a load split across several wellsites, works the same way: one call.
